How Does JoJo Siwa Feel About Her Ex-Girlfriend Following The Breakup?
Young love often doesn’t last and it can come with a lot of heartbreak. Although JoJo Siwa is no longer with her girlfriend Kylie Prew, JoJo still finds a reason to smile.
The 18-year-old recently opened up about the breakup to Paris Hilton on the socialite’s podcast, This is Paris.
Even though they’re apart, JoJo Siwa still has a lot of positive things to say about her ex
JoJo Siwa came out as pansexual in early 2021. Many of her fans felt delighted to learn that she was part of the LGBTQ+ community. Shortly after, she introduced her girlfriend, Kylie Prew, to the world.
When JoJo joined Dancing With The Stars in the fall of 2021, she and Kylie were still together. However, they’ve ended their relationship sometime over the past several weeks.
So what exactly happened between the young couple?
At the end of the day, JoJo isn’t publically announcing the cause of the breakup. More so that it was a case of “right person, wrong time.” However, the women still keep in touch.
“I have yet to talk about this officially, publicly, but we broke up,” JoJo told Paris Hilton. “But she is literally still my best friend. I talked to her yesterday, she just got a new puppy. She’s awesome. She’s having the time of her life, I’m having the time of my life.”
“I’m really lucky that I didn’t lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don’t have to end,” she continued.
She doesn’t regret a single moment spent with Kylie Prew at the end of the day. JoJo is still very thankful to have Kylie in her life, even if they aren’t a couple any longer.
The dancer gets a little help from her friends
Even though JoJo Siwa hadn’t said much about the split with Kylie Prew until now, fans knew something was eating at her. She publically said that she was going through something in her personal life. However, her DWTS partner Jenna Johnson was helping her overcome it. That could have meant many different things, but we now know that JoJo was referring to her split with Kylie Prew here.
“Jenna has been such a support in my life for these seven or eight weeks,” the 18-year-old told reporters, including Hollywood Life, following the Horror Night episode. “She has become my older sister and guided me through so many things. I think one thing specifically that she’s guided me through is finding happiness with myself. One thing that she’s done for me is made me happy with being me.”
Jenna and JoJo found themselves in the bottom two on Dancing With The Stars this week, but hopefully they’ll pull themselves up and do better next week.
