‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ Trailer Reveals Jennifer Beals In Disney+ ‘Star Wars’ Series
In the new Disney+ preview for the upcoming The Book of Boba Fett, they hint that “every galaxy has an underworld.” Star Wars fans have been waiting a full year for this highly anticipated spin-off, with very little information shared.
Now that the first trailer has been dropped, fans have a lot more to speculate. In particular, some of the surprise casting, including Jennifer Beals. Here is what we know about her role and the upcoming Disney+ series.
What Does The Boba Fett Trailer Show?
Star Wars fans who have been waiting for the Boba Fett spinoff series got their wish. They finally got an official trailer. This story continues from when The Mandalorian Season 2 left off. Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) are now taking over for Jabba the Hutt. The profitable criminal empire is theirs.
However, this is a seedy world of backstabbers, and for those with their own devious agendas, holding on may be more difficult than they are anticipating.
When did Boba and Fennec take over? At the end of The Mandalorian Season 2, after the credits, fans found out that there would be a season. In that scene, Bib Fortuna (Matthew Wood), Jabba’s previous right-hand man, was in the palace, sitting on his throne. Fennec appears shooting at everything before Baba enters.
“Boba, I thought you were dead!” a very surprised Bib declared. Boba doesn’t even hesitate as he shoots Bib dead.
However, there appear to be more surprises this first season. The first is the casting of Jennifer Beal.
Flashdance Star In Mystery Role In The Book Of Boba Fett
When The Book Of Boba Fett trailer was released, astute fans noticed that a Twi’lek looked a lot like Jennifer Beal (The L-Word: Generation Q, Taken). Deadline got confirmation that indeed, the Flashdance star is in the series.
However. Lucasfilms did not elaborate on this “surprising debut.”

Did she share any details on her role? Not exactly, but she is certainly thrilled to be part of this historic universe. The chatter around is that everyone expects her to have a significant role in the series. However, viewers will just have to watch.
