Jessa Seewald Gives Duggar Fans Advice On Homeschooling
Counting On star Jessa Seewald is sharing her expertise about homeschooling with Duggar fans. After talking about homeschooling her son Spurgeon, 5, fans are asking questions and listening to what Jessa has to say. So, what has Jessa shared about homeschooling, and what advice is she offering to fans?

For those who don’t know, Jessa and her husband Ben share four young kids, Spurgeon, 5, Henry, 4, Ivy, 2, and Fern, 3 months. In a new Instagram post, Jessa shared an adorable photo of Spurgeon working at a desk in the living room. His siblings Henry and Ivy are standing by his side as he completes his schoolwork. Jessa describes the siblings as “Big brother’s fan club.” She also reveals that Spurgeon is in first grade.
This isn’t the first time that Jessa gave fans a peek into her homeschooling days with the kids. She previously shared a YouTube video showing fans what a “day in the life” looks like for her and her four children. Fans loved that one and appreciated an honest look into her life.
Jessa hasn’t shared too much about Henry’s homeschool journey so far, but she did reveal that he’s already doing a great job learning how to read. Since he’s younger, she may be working with him for a shorter amount of time each day.
Duggar fans ask for homeschooling advice.
In the comments section of her post, a fan asked Jessa, “What curriculum do you use? We are looking for a good one for next year?”
In response, Jessa writes, “This year we’re using Sing, Spell, Read & Write and ACE Paces, as well as read alouds of some classic books.”
Other fans are asking questions about homeschooling and parenting, but at this point, she hasn’t had a chance to answer all of them. Fans know that Jessa was homeschooled growing up, so she has plenty of expertise in this area. Fans seem to trust her advice and look to her as an example.
Jessa is also being praised for homeschooling Spurgeon with three other young children at home. They aren’t sure how she does it all.
