Blake Moynes disrupted The Bachelorette, won Katie Thurston’s heart
Season 17 of The Bachelorette wasn’t Blake’s first attempt at finding love on the dating show. He previously pursued Clare Crawley and then Tayshia Adams on Season 16.
However, he wasn’t among Katie Thurston’s original suitors. In fact, he had to pull out all the stops to convince her to give him a chance. While the other men weren’t happy, Blake Moynes made it all the way to the end and is engaged to Katie.
Wildlife manager spends time in Africa
Despite their whirlwind romance, Blake and Katie aren’t living together, In fact, they don’t even live in the same city. The pair are taking their time to explore their relationship before moving in together.
To complicate matters, Blake is a Canadian citizen, so one of them would have to leave their home country in order to live together. Katie recently moved from Washington state to San Diego, California. The couple will reunite soon after extended time part.
Blake Moynes has been in Africa to learn about wildlife conservation, including elephants and rhinos.

Despite their physical distance, Blake Moynes still finds a way to support Katie Thurston. He recently posted a declaration of love on Instagram, though fans might find it slightly odd. Alongside a photo of him grinning, Blake wrote in the caption that he’s realized his fiance has “bigger balls” than he does.
Why? Katie Thurston has been teasing her social media followers about a stand-up comic gig she has coming up. At first, she was nervous about sharing the specific details, worried it would attract “the wrong kind of people.”
However, she decided to brave her nerves and reveal the date and location. Katie Thurston will join Whitney Cummings on the comedian’s Touch Me tour.
