Heather Locklear Responds To Rumors She’s Joining ‘RHOBH’
RHOBH fans have been clamoring for Heather Locklear to join the show for years. The Melrose Place actress responds to the rumors once and for all. Is she joining the Bravo show?
Did Lisa Rinna and Heather Locklear get along on Melrose Place set?
Heather Locklear knows at least one current RHOBH star. After leaving Days of Our Lives, Lisa Rinna had a role on Melrose Place alongside Heather Locklear. Rinna played Taylor McBride, the romantic rival of Locklear’s character Amanda Woodward.
Speaking to People magazine earlier this year about the nighttime soap, Lisa Rinna had nothing but nice things to say about Heather Locklear.
She told the outlet that the two “had a great time” together on the show, though they didn’t hang out together off-screen often. However, Locklear made Rinna feel “very welcomed there” after she joined the show for the last two seasons. Heather Locklear appeared as a guest star in Season 1 before becoming a full-time cast member in Season 2.
Heather Locklear responds to RHOBH rumors
Season 11 of RHOBH is nearing the end, with just three episodes remaining. Fans of the show are calling for various cast members to be fired and replaced ahead of Season 12. Among those on the viewers’ chopping block are Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Rinna, and Erika Girardi.
However, Erika’s return is almost a certainty given how much drama and ratings she’s bringing in with her legal drama.
Garcelle Beauvais is open to returning, but as of yet, no one has officially been asked back. With Heather Locklear hitting the talk shows to promote her recent Lifetime movie, the topic of RHOBH came up.
Locklear was a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this week. Kelly Clarkson brought up the rumors, asking the actress if she’s joining RHOBH.
Heather Locklear quickly shot those rumors down, responding that she’s “not interesting enough” for the Bravo show. Additionally, she pointed out that she doesn’t drink, and any Bravoholic knows that alcohol plays a major part of the show.
In fact, former RHOC alum Kelly Dodd recently spilled that Bravo provides top-tier liquor for the ladies.
Blonde beauty’s connection to Denise Richards
Heather Locklear’s name came up on Season 10 of RHOBH in regards to Brandi Glanville and Denise Richards. Brandi made shocking allegations that she had an affair with the Starship Troopers actress. Denise continues to deny the allegations, but Brandi Glanville reached out to Heather Locklear during the drama.
Pop culture fans may recall that Heather Locklear and Denise Richards used to be best friends. That was, until Denise Richards hooked up with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, who was in the middle of a divorce from Locklear.
There are rumors that Denise Richards or Lisa Vanderpump could return for Season 12. However, RHOBH fans hoping for a Denise/Heather showdown aren’t going to get it.
