Below Deck Med fans are understandably concerned about deckhand Lloyd Spencer. The deckhand looked a little green in the face on last Monday night’s episode. He was worried about finding a new job after the charter season ends. He hoped that he could find another understanding and loving crew like this one.

Lloyd asked his father to help him find a new yachting job with little success. Suddenly, it became the only thought on his mind. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Lloyd had a health scare on the show, which fans will get to witness in the new episode. However, some feel that he’s having a panic attack.

Below Deck Med Season 6 star talks about his health scare

In a new interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Lloyd Spencer talks about what happened the day he got sick. The yachtie shared the details of his mysterious illness. The previous episode of Below Deck Mediterranean ended with the Brit getting sick. The Lady Michelle crew hurried around as they prepared for the final charter of the season.

In the October 4 episode, Lloyd wasn’t feeling like himself. He had difficulty concentrating and wasn’t his usual upbeat self. The deckhand struggled to perform his usual duties. Bosun Malia White took notice and checked in on Lloyd, who revealed that he felt a tightness in his chest and stomach area. The bosun informed him to rest before informing Captain Sandy Yawn of the situation.

Captain Sandy takes health very seriously. She suffered a heart attack in the past. She took Lloyd’s blood pressure, which was high. Sandy informed Lloyd that he needed to take a water taxi to receive medical attention onshore. Before he left, Lloyd vomited several times and looked sick to his stomach.

“I felt almost disembodied from the minute I woke up,” Lloyd Spencer told Bravo Insider. “I think we were having a meeting, and I just, like, couldn’t focus on what was going on.”

Lloyd Spencer shares “the worst thing” about his illness

The Below Deck Med breakout star described how he was feeling as he went through his day. He admitted that “the worst thing” was vomiting in Captain Sandy’s bathroom. He was in such rough shape, he didn’t know what to do with himself.

“It got worse and worse, and I vomited in Captain Sandy’s toilet, which wasn’t exactly ideal,” Lloyd Spencer explained. “So not only was I having the situation, but I then kept doing stuff that made it more stressful.”

But did Lloyd suffer a panic attack? Or was it something more serious? Fans will have to keep watching until the end to see what happens. The season finale of Below Deck Med Season 6 airs Monday, October 11 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes air a few days early on Peacock.
