Azriel Dalman Talks About Playing Ryan Paevey’s Son

In Hallmark’s Coyote Creek Christmas, Azriel Dalman plays Noah Bailey, Dylan’s (Ryan Paevey) son. According to The permanent Rain Press, this is the first Hallmark Christmas movie for this experienced seven-year-old actor. He already boasts over 30 acting credits!

He even has his favorite craft services treat: the iced tea. Although he likes M&Ms, he can only eat the yellow or orange ones. That is because the other colors interfere with his look, and it becomes a makeup disaster.

Acting with Ryan Paevey was great for him. The two even went to the movie theater to see Free Guy. In addition, Ryan has some other interests. “Ryan knows everything about bugs and Pokémon.” Sounds like the Unleashing Mr. Darcy star is a big kid. Thus, it makes sense how the two bonded, as Azriel explained how playing father-son was natural.

“It was easy and instant and it feels like I’ve always known Ryan as a real uncle or something. Sometimes when I am someone’s kid in a movie, I have to do real acting to pretend I am their kid, not because they aren’t nice but because I don’t know them well and I don’t really get to know them too well on the project. With Ryan I didn’t really have to do any acting to pretend I knew him, because I got to know him fast.”

Both Ryan and Janel made sure to make Azriel feel included in everything. The two love dogs so much that they would hug and kiss random dogs.

Coyote Creek Christmas premieres on Saturday, October 30, at 8 p.m. Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.
