‘BIP’ Update: Are Kenny Braasch & Mari Pepin Still Together?
Bachelor in Paradise fans saw three couples get engaged on the season finale October 5. One of those couples was Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin. They had a few rough patches throughout their time on the beach. However, they were able to overcome and conquer. Kenny proposed and Mari happily accepted the Neil Lane sparkler. The show ended nearly three months ago. So, are Kenny and Mari still happy and engaged?
Are Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin still engaged?
Fans of this adorable couple will be happy to know that Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin are indeed still together and engaged. Not only are they still together, but they are also busy planning their future together. US Weekly shared what Mari and Kenny had to say about their relationship.
Currently, Kenny lives in Chicago and Mari lives in Maryland. She announced following the premiere that she will be making the move to Chicago to be with her fiance.
Mari said, “So we haven’t set, like, a wedding date or anything yet, but I am going to be moving to Chicago in the next few months.” She continued, “So that’s our first step, and we did agree to get married in Puerto Rico, [which is] where I’m from. So there’s that.”
Kenny, 40, said his family knew when he returned from the beach that he was engaged. They were shocked he found love so quickly. Mari said the same thing that her parents cried and were shocked. However, they are happy for Kenny and Mari.
Kenny also revealed that their families watched the show together on finale night. He said, “So my parents knew, kind of, when I got home what was going on. They were very shocked at that moment.” He went on to say, “But when we saw it back last night, we were all together. Her family came in and everybody was together, and it was great, to be honest. It was pretty a pretty special night.”
Are there babies in their future?
Kenny and Mari, 25, have also dished on whether or not they plan on having babies. Mari said that yes that is definitely in their plans. One thing at a time but she feels it will happen in the next few years.
The two are excited and happy to be able to show their love in public and not hide anymore.
