Becca Kufrin makes BiP history
Becca Kufrin has been looking for love in Bachelor Nation since 2018. She was a contestant on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor. While Arie proposed to Becca, he changed his mind and dumped her for runner-up and now-wife Lauren Burnham.
Undaunted, Becca gave love another shot during her stint as The Bachelorette. However, her engagement to final rose pick Garrett Yrigoyen didn’t last, either.
Still looking for love but guarded, Kufrin made history by joining Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise. She became the first former lead to join the show typically made up of only former contestants.
Once on the beach, she formed a connection with Season 17 bad boy Thomas Jacobs. He was infamously booted off The Bachelorette by Katie Thurston after his intentions were questioned. Was he in it for fame or love?
Regardless of his intentions on The Bachelorette, Thomas quickly fell for Becca Kufrin.
However, things were moving too quickly for her.

Becca Kufrin knows that getting your heart broken on national TV sucks. She took to her Instagram after the BiP finale to apologize to her suitor. Sharing a video of highlights of their time together, she wrote, “I’m sorry for breaking up with you on national television.”
She also shared a tweet on her Instagram Stories about regretting how you left a social situation. “Do you ever leave a social situation and you’re just like mmm that was not my best work,” the tweet said. Kufrin shared an emoji with its hand up with “Umm….”
Did they get back together? Status CONFIRMED
Third time’s the charm! At least, that’s what Becca and Thomas are hoping. They confirmed on their respective Instagram accounts that yes, they are back together.
The video Kufrin posted of their time together on BiP includes some clips of their post-show relationship. Thomas Jacobs reshared her video and wrote, “I love you, Boops.”
