Duggar Family Tries To Distract From Josh’s Scandal As Trial Approaches
The Duggar family may be trying to steal the attention from their son Josh’s latest scandal. As fans and critics know, Josh was arrested for the possession of child pornography. Since April, this scandal has been unfolding, and more details have surfaced.
Amid the scandal, several members of the family went silent on social media. For example, Josh’s wife Anna hasn’t posted on social media or issued a statement on her husband’s alleged behavior. She finally surfaced again at his recent motion hearing. Other members of the family have returned to posting on social media often, but they are keeping quiet about this scandal.
Sources have spoken out and revealed that some members of the family are carrying on like nothing is happening. Of course, the family is still making headlines thanks to their association with Josh. But now, new pictures show that they may be trying to offer a distraction from the noise surrounding Josh’s latest scandal.
Duggar Family Hits the Road
As we reported, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are traveling with their youngest children. Though the couple has 19 kids and has adopted a relative’s son, Tyler, they only had six children with them on this trip. They visited Mount Rushmore, Old Faithful, and more landmarks. Noticeably, the family has been posting on social media more in recent days than they typically do. Their typical posts are more sporadic than these have been.
So, it looks like the Duggar family could be sharing about the positive things going on in their lives right now as a way to keep the focus off their names in the headlines. Of course, there’s no way to avoid the articles about Josh, especially as his November 30 trial draws near. In addition, the family could be trying to distract their youngest kids from the stress and drama of the scandal.
But it’s totally possible that the family is simply posting online more right now because they’re out and about and have fun photos to share with fans. Michelle did mention that they try to plan their trips around their schoolwork so they can count as field trips.
