WWE NXT 2.0 moved forward as their rebranding becomes more focused on new talent with some established veterans. The Cruiserweight Title was defended as Roderick Strong took on Grayson Waller. Elektra Lopez battled B-Fab in a No DQ match to kick off the show, as LDF shined again. Here are 5 Must-See moments from the latest WWE NXT 2.0.

Raquel defends her crown

The main event saw Franky Monet give it her all but come up short after Raquel Gonzalez hit a modified powerbomb. After the match, Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction came to the ring and beat down Gonzalez to end the show.

Cruiserweight Title action
Newly crowned Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong had her first title defense on WWE NXT 2.0 against newcomer Grayson Waller. Fresh off of his stink with the Undisputed Era, Strong has reinvented himself as the leader of the Diamond Mine which led him to the Cruiserweight Title. Waller came out strong and made it a close contest even with Strong’s experience. In the closing stretch of the match, Waller got a two after leaping into the ring and hitting a cutter but was caught with a knockout shot by Strong who got the win.

Tag Team Titles on the line

NXT Women’s Tag Titles
Io Shiri and Zoey Stark have been on a roll as of late as WWE NXT continues with their 2.0 rebranding. With the responsibilities of holding the titles comes new challenges, especially in the form of Toxic Attraction. With Mandy Rose looking on at ringside, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne had their sights set on Shiri and Stark to become the new champions but came up short when Shiri hit a moonsault on Dolin.

8-Man Tag Match set
WWE NXT Tag Team Champions MSK came to the ring to make sure the WWE Universe knew they were the top team in NXT. Within minutes, they were joined at ringside by the Grizzled Young Veterans who pushed back at MSK. Carmelo Hayes and Trick then came down who were followed by Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, so fans knew business was about to pick up.

Lopez and B-Fab go NO DQ
WWE NXT 2.0 opened up with a NO DQ match between Elektra Lopez of LGF and B-Fab. The match featured all the expected tropes of a WWE hardcore match, including chairs and kendo sticks. In the end, Lopez got the win after slamming B-Fab onto a chair and hitting a powerbomb.
