Darcey And Stacey: How Did They Earn Their Money?
Darcey and Stacey Silva live lavish lifestyles. They get professional extensions, their nails are always done, and they can always afford to treat their men. Though they have a home, they were able to get plush apartments to quarantine in. Additionally, the twins just spent a month in Turkey getting full-body makeovers. This included 24/7 nurses. Even though they have a fashion line, how did they earn their money?
Darcey and Stacey Come To Television
The twins have had their fashion line, House of 11 for many years. They have been able to heavily promote this line via reality television which started in 2017. This was when Darcey joined the 90 Day Fiance spinoff 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. She flew to Amsterdam to meet her long-distance love, Jesse Meester, where their love was documented for two seasons. Her next relationship with Englishman, Tom, was documented for the next two seasons.
It is estimated the cast makes around $1K-1,500 per episode. Stacey was also featured on the series as a side character alongside her sister. They were so well-received that they landed the spin-off, Darcey and Stacey. House of 11 was heavily featured on both the series but also on the twins’ Instagrams. Since they continued to amass a following, they continued to make money. Now, they are also on Cameo and promote products. It is estimated they are worth a combined total of six million, according to ScreenRant.
A Little Help From Daddy?
Though Darcey and Stacey are making money on their own, they do have a crutch to help them along the way. Their father, Mike Silva has been a major shoulder to lean on, especially financially. The home they live in on the series is actually owned by Mike. He purchased it and the girls have lived there for years. They only have to leave when they meet a man. As seen from the series, he did not like the idea of random men coming home. This could have something to do with Darcey’s teenage daughters Aniko and Aspen living there, as well.
However, Mike recently listed the Middletown home for the price of $715,000. Since the twins still needed a place to lay their heads, he bought them a million-dollar home, as well. Mike has been a businessman for decades now and has an estimated worth of ten million dollars. He is the chairman of Maison Worley Parsons, according to Starcasm. The company has since moved to China which was why he was based there for so long.
He is a very generous man, even investing in Aniko’s pageant dreams. So though the twins like to do business, Mike has always been there to help. What do you think of the Silva family?
