Jinger Vuolo Defies Parents, Puts Legs On Display In Labor Day Photo
Jinger Vuolo is over the Duggar family’s strict modesty rules! She’s showing some more skin in a recent photo, and she’s not thinking twice.
Longtime fans of the Duggar family know that the girls are supposed to dress modestly. That’s why they often wear long skirts or dresses and other modest clothing. In a blog post in 2012, Michelle Duggar argued that she doesn’t make her kids dress a certain way, however. She wrote:
“Because our family is so open and honest in our discussions, I find that my daughters are even more careful with their appearances. Their modesty is their own. They own it themselves. I’m not the one telling them what to wear. As my 12-year-old girls are growing and maturing, sometimes I’ll have to mention to them when things are getting too snug or revealing. I realize it may be their favorite blouse or T-shirt from last season, but they’re growing up a little bit more and things don’t fit the same way now. The girls appreciate it and acknowledge that they didn’t even realize that the clothes were becoming more revealing.”
Regardless of why the Duggars dress modestly, some of the married women have started dressing differently. Fans assume this is because they get to make some decisions for their own families. For Jinger, that means it’s okay to wear shorts, jeans, and less modest clothing.

On his Instagram page, Jeremy shared a few snaps from his family’s Labor Day activities. He seemed to enjoy his day with his wife and their two little girls, Felicity and Evangeline. In one snap, Jinger is holding her hand in front of her face as Jeremy takes her photo. Jeremy’s caption reads, “🎶 Stop! In the name of love…🎵 Happy Labor Day.”
In the photo, Jinger is wearing a baseball cap, white tee-shirt and striped short shorts. Her thighs are totally visible in the new picture.
This isn’t the first time that Jinger has worn shorts, however. In another Instagram post, Jeremy snapped a picture of his wife building a swing set for their daughters in the backyard. She’s wearing short denim shorts. Jinger has posted workout photos, featuring her wearing tank tops and shorts to keep cool.
