David Spade dishes on terrifying moments while on Bachelor in Paradise

E! News shared all about what David Spade had to say about his most terrifying moments hosting Bachelor in Paradise. It’s probably not what one might think. In fact, it’s almost kind of comical.

Spade started out saying he did enjoy his time as guest host. He said, “I didn’t really know what I was getting into.” Spade continued, “Bachelor people are kind of feisty, you know, and if they get mad at me, I don’t know if I could handle it. It turned out to be fun to go down there.”

He then went on to say what literally terrified him. It turns out the crabs scared him. Spade said, “When I went to the bathroom, there were crabs.” He continued, “You can just hear them running. It’s terrifying. I don’t want to hang out with them. I don’t know what crabs can do. They can stand, they can go sideways, everything’s bad about them, and there’s more than you think. One fell off the wall on me. One fell off the ceiling, I’m like this is a haunted house. I tell people, they’re like, ‘Never would have stayed one night.'”

He noted how glad he was to be on set and away from the crabs. While in his room he said there were always at least six in there at all times.

Aside from the crab infestation, Spade enjoyed himself. He said he and Wells Adams made fun of everybody. He said aside from rose ceremonies he wasn’t really allowed to intermingle much. Spade also said being a fan of the show he missed meeting Kendall Long. However, he did mention he got to meet Demi Burnett and Becca Kufrin.

Would David Spade become a permanent host?

Spade also recently shared his thoughts on becoming a permanent host of the show. He said Bachelor in Paradise is probably more his speed. He said the other two shows were too serious for him.
