Matt Roloff is on a deadline. When his ex-wife couldn’t find a wedding venue, the LPBW star offered Roloff Farms. However, none of the existing buildings would do for Amy Roloff. Instead, Matt took the opportunity to build an entire new structure. With just 16 days until Amy says “I do” to Chris Marek, will Matt Roloff meet the deadline?

Desperate Amy Roloff Couldn’t Refuse Ex’s Offer

Amy Roloff should already be married to Chris Marek. The couple was planning to tie the knot in 2020. Like many other brides-to-be, the coronavirus pandemic wreaked havoc on wedding plans. However, there are only so many venues and wedding dates to choose from. None of the venues Amy Roloff looked at had availability for 2021.

In a kind gesture, Matt Roloff offered to host the nuptials at Roloff Farms. After his ex sold him her shares, Matt is the sole owner of the vast property. After some consideration, Amy Roloff accepted the offer. Her wedding is on August 28, 2021, at Roloff Farms. Will Matt attend?

Wedding Venue Progression

Matt Roloff being Matt Roloff, he took the opportunity to build a whole new building on the property for Amy’s wedding. At first, fans were confused why he was building something new after promising Amy he wouldn’t before the wedding. However, it turns out that the new structure is FOR Amy’s wedding.

Chris Marek hinted that the venue could be for Matt Roloff’s wedding to Caryn Chandler if he ever proposes.

He’s been sharing updates on his Instagram. He started with a model rendering of what the building will look like. When he shared a video of a tour of the farm, fans could see some of the construction crew working on the building. See the progress they’ve made so far:

Matt Roloff Pressed For Time – Will He Meet Deadline?

Unfortunately, not everything went according to Matt Roloff’s plan. He had to abruptly stop construction to deal with a family crisis. Now there’s a time crunch to get the building finished in just over two weeks. Will he make the deadline or will Amy get married in a half-finished venue?

Matt Roloff took to his Instagram to share an update 16 days before the wedding. He seems sure that the structure will be done in time. Matt also took the time to thank all of the various workers for “racing at full speed” to get it finished.
