Moriah Plath Hangs Out With Her Parents – All Is Forgiven?
Welcome to Plathville fans saw the ups and downs of Moriah Plath’s relationship with her parents, Kim and Barry. As she figures out who she is, she doesn’t always agree with her parents. This has lead to some conflict between the parents and their daughter.
The series as a whole focuses on the rocky relationships the kids have with their parents. Fans will recall that Season 2 wrapped up with an intense confrontation between Barry and Ethan Plath. Olivia Plath has also been open about the difficulties she and Ethan face with his parents.
There’s no doubt that the new season will feature more of the family’s conflicts as they figure out where they stand with each other. In an update about the show, Moriah gave some insight into her relationship with her parents as the new season approaches.
What’s going on with Moriah Plath & her parents?
The new clip from TLC gives fans a peek into Moriah’s life. She’s living with her brother, Micah, and she’s growing closer to her boyfriend, Max Kallschmidt. In the video, Moriah talks briefly about her parents and the relationship they have.
In a confessional, Moriah says, “Today, Micah, Max, and I are going over to my parents’ to celebrate my dad’s birthday. My parents and I are in a much better place than we were a year ago. It’s like, I have boundaries, but I’ve also come to the conclusion that they’re my parents and I can’t do anything about that. And I’m basically just learning to love them for who they are because that’s what I want them to do for me.”
Then, she continues, “But also, since Ethan had that confrontation with my parents in the driveway…Watching him kind of cope the way he has and hold grudges and kind of not just sort through it himself. That has been an example to me, in a way. I don’t really wanna carry all that around, so I would prefer to just deal with it and move on.”
The clip ends before Moriah heads to her parents’ house, so we don’t know where they really stand. But it sounds like they’re on their way to having a healthier relationship.
