What is this K-Drama about?
The story of Hotel Del Luna revolves around a hotel owner/manager. However, this isn’t just any sort of hotel. The hotel caters exclusively to ghosts. Even the staff are ghosts. As to be expected, the hotel is not visible to humans unless there are special circumstances.
Hotel Del Luna is located in downtown Seoul, Korea. What’s On Netflix reports that “after making an error many years ago,” the hotel CEO, Jan Man Wal became trapped inside the hotel. It seems like the only thing Jan Man Wal had going for her was her beauty because her personality is described as “waning as she is fickle and greedy.”
Then, Koo Chang-sung gets assigned as the manager of Hotel Del Luna. Presumably, this has something to do with a deal his father made. Reasonably so, he is shocked to find out that the clientele of his new job is ghosts. Assumably, Koo Chang-sung gets the job because the ghost needs someone to do their business in the human world. Mainly this business consists of paying bills and helping the ghosts with requests they have for their still-living family and friends.
