See New Photos Of Lawson Bates Like You’ve Never Seen Him Before
Some Bringing Up Bates fans have followed the family for nearly a decade with their first show, United Bates of America, premiering in 2012. Now, the family has a second show, Bringing Up Bates, which began in 2015. While fans are waiting for word on the show’s possible renewal, they are enjoying keeping up with the family on social media. On social media Tuesday, the family celebrated Lawson Bates’ birthday.
In a series of Instagram posts, Lawson’s family members made sure to share old photos and write heartfelt messages. It looks like Lawson got lots of love from his parents and siblings. He turned 29 years old on July 27.
In an Instagram post on his birthday, Lawson shared a few recent photos of himself and his girlfriend, Tiffany Espensen. He wrote, “Another lap around the sun, and it’s been the best one yet because of you, @tiffypics 🤍Grateful to each of you for all of the kind birthday well wishes today! They mean a lot 🤠 ”
Lawson’s mom, Kelly Jo Bates, decided to give fans a behind-the-scenes look. She shared a few photos of Lawson that no one has seen before.

On her Instagram stories Tuesday, Kelly shared a handful of photos from when Lawson was growing up. Since these photos were taken when he was really young and before the show started, fans have never seen all of them before.
Since the photos were posted to Kelly’s Instagram stories, they’re only visible for 24 hours. You can see screenshots of them here.
Kelly writes, “Some of you commented on my birthday post for Lawson & asked me to show baby pics, so I’ll show a series of his childhood pics in the next few slides!”
She shared a few baby pictures of him. In one of the photos, she’s cradling her newborn baby. Reflecting on that special moment, she writes, “You may be a year older & all grown up, but you’ll always be my baby!”
She also posted a few photos of Lawson as he got older. One of the photos is of him as a toddler and another one shows him blowing out the candles on his eighth birthday.
