‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 9 Will Be More Exciting Than Fans Think

Lala Kent opened up about Vanderpump Rules Season 9. The cast is back together and filming the new season. Bravo’s hit show was on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic and its ongoing firings. In June 2020, Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni all lost their jobs due to their past racist comments and actions that came back to haunt them.

Six months later, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their respective exits from the show. Dayna Kathan also made the conscious decision to leave reality television behind. Still, Pump Rules Season 9 will see the return of Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss, and Lala herself.

Lala Kent teases the new season

Vanderpump Rules fans have a feeling the new season will be boring. They’re not looking forward to seeing most of the cast members become first-time moms. They also noticed on social media that most of the cast gets along these days, which means ZERO drama. Or does it?

Lala Kent teased the new season. She promised that there will still be plenty of drama. New cast members will be thrown into the mix, which will amplify the drama. Lala admitted that the fresh blood will make for good television. However, she misses filming with Stassi and Kristen, calling them “a piece of the friendship pie” that’s missing in her life.

“I think we’ll see new faces,” Lala teased on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast. “We’re fresh into it, but, and I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s going to be a great season. I, just based off of what we filmed so far like s**t’s already hit the fan and it’s awesome. Awesome for viewers, not so awesome for us to have like face each other daily.”

The crew is in the middle of filming the ninth season. They just went on their first cast trip. Lala called it a “great show” that she’s still “grateful to be a part of.” The Give Them Lala founder is thankful for going to work with her best friends and having a good time. She also acknowledged the cast members that no longer get to film with them.

Where she stands with Scheana Shay

Lala Kent and Scheana Shay appeared to have a good time on their Vanderpump Rules Season 9 cast trip to Santa Barbara. In Ariana Madix’s Instagram Stories, they didn’t interact much. Regardless, they’re still part of the same mommy group. During the interview, Lala revealed where they stand today.

“I like to say that we’re stuck with each other because we’ve been through so much,” Kent shared. “And I think we have like a really deep love for one another.”

They developed a strong bond now that they have both become first-time moms. She described their bond as a “new bond that we’ve formed,” which makes it “hard to leave your baby behind,” even while filming on the reality show. Lala explained that their babies “are only legally allowed to be in front of those cameras for 20 minutes” and then they “have to pass them off.” It’s been hard for them to be without their babies.

“We’re in a decent place at the moment,” Lala continued. “And you know, people will have to see cause we just picked up cameras. So everyone, you know, everyone’s guess is as good as mine to see where all of our friendships and relationships will go.”
