Courtney Waldrop took to Instagram today to announce they’ve added a new baby to the family. Fans loved seeing the Waldrop family grow larger. But, they feared for the new Waldrop baby. In response to news of the new addition to the family, one fan expressed concern for the health of the new little guy.

Courtney Waldrop reveals Blu loves the new addition
Now, for those who are unaware, the new Waldrop baby is actually a kitten. Courtney Waldrop revealed they had always been dog people. But, someone left this baby on their doorstep. Their choices were to keep the little kitten or to find a new home. So, they decided to keep him. It ended up being a great choice as the kitten has adjusted well to the family. Courtney reveals the kitten seems to love getting toted around by the sextuplets. Blue, in particular, seems to be in love with the little guy.
Fans think the new Waldrop baby is sick
The celebration was short-lived in the comments as some fans thought the new Waldrop baby looked sick. Was the kitten sick? Did the baby need medical care?
“He is adorable. I feel like his face is a little too dirty though and am concerned about an upper respiratory infection. I just ask you to take him to get checked by a vet sooner then later,” one fan penned in the comments. The concerned comment was liked a few dozen times indicating other fans felt the same way. A few even responded to the comment echoing the same concerns for the new Waldrop baby.
Another fan agreed: “I was thinking the same thing. Best to get him looked at soon.”
“And he looks like he has something going on with his eyes. Possible eye infection?” A third fan chimed in.
The concerned fan who left the original comment added in response to the mention of the kitten’s eye: “That’s all to do with the upper respiratory infection. unfortunately if its itchy, they can do physical damage to themselves too.”
Other fans got defensive and defended the Waldrop baby
One defensive fan pointed out Courtney Waldrop admitted they just got the kitten. This individual was sure Courtney Waldrop would take the baby to the vet to get necessary medical care.
The first concerned fan chimed in again to clarify they were not trying to attack Courtney. But, she mentioned in her caption she had never had a cat before. So, the individual felt compelled to make sure they knew the new addition to their family might be sick.
