There may be more than just heart aches on the next episode of The Bachelorette. In a new teaser, it seems one of the suitors is seriously hurt after an intense tackle during the group date. Bachelor Nation alum Wells Adams serves as host of the Bash Ball. He shares his unique perspective of the men vying for Katie’s attention. Keep reading to find out what goes down in The Bachelorette previews.

Bachelor Nation Staple: The Ambulance Ride

The men of The Bachelorette get rough and rowdy in hopes of getting more time with Katie Thurston. During Clare Crawley’s season, her suitors played a raunchy game of dodgeball in the nude. Katie Thurston’s men have their clothes on, but their unitards don’t exactly leave much to the imagination.

In the preview, the men turn a rugby/basketball mash-up into an outlet for their frustration. The winning team gets more time with Katie Thurston, so all bets are off on the field. After a particularly nasty tackle, one of her suitors is left in a fetal position on the ground. Katie runs over as an ambulance siren wails in the background.

Could one of her suitors be taken out of contention and put on the injured list?

Bachelorette Contestants Don’t Like the New Guy

Some of the tension among the men stems from Blake Moynes crashing the season. If he seems familiar, he was on both Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams’s seasons. And now he’s back, convinced that Katie Thurston is the one for him. Katie is willing to give him a chance, much to the disappointment of the other suitors.

In another preview clip, the men throw shade at Blake. One bone of contention in particular is him “falling in love” with three women in the same year. While the other men may not like Blake, it seems that Katie Thurston does.

Wells Adams Reveals His Pick for Bachelorette Katie Thurston

Wells Adams is gearing up for his return to Bachelor in Paradise later this summer. In addition to being the bartender, he will preside over the rose ceremonies. He spoke to People magazine about what he saw during his brief appearance. According to Wells, the game gets “heated” as the men take their “aggression” out on each other.

He notes that Hunter takes the game more seriously than the others and Wells was here for it. “He was lighting dudes up left and right. I was proud of him. I was like, ‘Yeah, man, go get your girl,'” he told the outlet.

However, Wells saw a connection between Katie and Connor. He revealed that he chatted up Connor, whom he calls “equal parts sweet guy and dork.”

In addition to giving his take on Katie Thurston’s men, Wells Adams gave an update on his own romantic life. As fans of the show know, he has been engaged to actress Sarah Hyland since 2019. They had to postpone their wedding plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fans are still hoping the two might marry on the beach in Mexico. However, Wells reveals that a Vegas wedding might be in store. No matter where or how the wedding happens, he teases that it will happen sometime in 2022.
