‘Bringing Up Bates’: Mama Josie Shares Intimate Moment With Sisters
Bringing Up Bates mama Josie Balka and her husband Kelton Balka welcomed their baby girl Hazel on Monday, June 14. After a delay in the NICU, Josie told her fans that soon, the little one would go home. Well, that happened and no doubt the family was delighted to know she pulled through safely. This weekend, mama took to her Instagram and revealed that Willow met her little sister for the first time in an intimate moment.

We reported that when the new baby of Josie Balka and Kelton arrived, she suffered from jaundice. Additionally, a complication with her blood arose. She told UPtv fans that it’s “exceeding rare.” In fact, the doctors said it seemed “unlike anything [they] had seen before.” So, their sweet baby ended up in the NICU and no doubt, the extended family and their church showered her with prayers.

Fortunately, Hazel started fighting back, and with the help of the medical professionals, she got a lot better. Bringing Up Bates fans heard last week that Hazel seemed much improved, and they could take her home. Later, they shared photos of mama cradling her baby as she sat on the couch.
She said, ” It doesn’t feel real. So so thankful to be home with a healthy baby. God is so good!” With the baby safely over her birth and trauma in the NICU, obviously, little Willow needed to meet her sibling.

On Saturday, June 26, Bringing Up Bates star Josie Balka shared a few photos and clips of Willow meeting her little sister. She only recently turned two, but she was very gentle with her sister. Mama and her dad helped her settle down on the couch and then they cradled the baby so Willow could cuddle her. Willow bent down and snuggled her sister almost like a little puppy and fans felt so moved that some of them got a bit teary-eyed.
One Bringing Up Bates fan told Josie Balka, “😭😭😭this hits the heartstrings!!” Meanwhile, Kelly Bates commented, “That video made me cry; it’s so sweet!!! 😍” Counting On star Jessa Seewald also commented, saying “This is the sweetest thing ever!” Plenty more comments rolled in and you can watch the clips and view more of those comments HERE.
