Late last month, the trailer for Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 dropped. Captain Sandy Yawn and Bosun Malia White are back for another round. Unfortunately, for fans, this is bad news. Most of them are boycotting the new season because of their involvement in former chief stew Hannah Ferrier’s firing.

Despite Malia and Sandy’s return, there is a whole new crew. And it looks like the most diverse crew in Below Deck history. The popular Bravo franchise will see a major cast shakeup, which you will learn about further down in this article. Read on to see how to find out the release and where to watch the new season.

Below Deck Mediterranean is back

As fans know, Below Deck Mediterranean is about a group of young yachties who work together to serve various charter guests during a single season. While the premise doesn’t sound so bad (especially with the money they get paid), it’s not without its share of stress and drama. Last season, fans didn’t forget when Captain Sandy Yawn fired Chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran for his service. Then, she fired Hannah Ferrier for having registered Valium and CBS without her knowledge.

The trailer looks like there will be difficulties among this new crew. There’s never a charter season where things go without a hitch. In Season 6, the crew will serve charter guests on the 180-feet mega yacht known as Lady Michelle. This time, they will charter the waters of Sibenik, Croatia.

“In a shocking franchise first, a serious crisis occurs before the opening charter, leaving the staff to worry if the season will be over before it begins,” the press release reads. “While unprecedented permutations in the crew structure disrupt the dynamic of the boat, one department head’s new management style causes friction that spans to the entire crew.”

The crew will also deal with rooming and health issues, especially since it’s happening in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. This is sure to shake things up. Of course, there is plenty of drinking, partying, and hooking up. As fans know, these yachties love to blow off steam every which way.

When and where to watch Season 6

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 sees the return of Sandy and Malia. They will work together to keep the crew members working peacefully together. However, it may not be enough. Even Sandy is seen yelling at Malia in the trailer.

There’s also a new chief stew on board. Katie Flood makes her big debut. The interior includes new stews Courtney Veale and Lexi Wilson as well as Chef Matthew Shea. New deckhands include David Pascoe, Lloyd Spencer, and Mzi “Zee” Dempers. Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 premieres Monday, June 28 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
