Chris Harrison Leaves Bachelor Nation: Rachel Lindsay Speaks Out
Rachel Lindsay has been a huge part in Chris Harrison stepping down from Bachelor Nation. She was very vocal the entire time about how she was feeling. Now that he has officially stepped down for good, she is opening up about how she feels.

Chris Harrison made the decision to step down from Bachelor Nation for a bit a few months ago after he made a racist comment during Matt James’ season of The Bachelor.
Originally, he was just going to take some time off. However, he has decided to step down from the franchise permanently.
“I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of The Bachelor franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter. I’m so grateful to Bachelor Nation for all of the memories we’ve made together. While my two-decade journey is wrapping up, the friendships I’ve made will last a lifetime,” he writes on an Instagram post.
Of course, many members of Bachelor Nation are pretty heartbroken to hear the news.
“It will never be the same. Truly the end of an era. Thank you for all the years of hard work and love you put into the show. I have a lump in my throat writing this. Can’t wait to see your next move. I love you,” Ashley Iaconetti writes on the post.
Some weren’t expecting it to ever actually happen.
What does Rachel Lindsay think?
According to Entertainment Tonight, she wasn’t expecting this to happen.
“I gotta say, I am [shocked]. I wasn’t expecting for it to happen, not after the announcement,” Rachel says.
Of course, everyone is wondering what triggered the change between him coming back and staying away permanently.
Rachel has some ideas on that including people not wanting to film Paradise and a comment Katie Thurston, the current Bachelorette made.
“I think several past contestants coming forward and saying they didn’t want him to be part of Paradise. I think Katie Thurston, her very last tweet before she went to film her season was that Chris needed to step away,” she says.
She continues by saying “I think that, coupled with the interview that happened on this very stage, maybe led to him not coming back.”
Of course, fans are anxiously waiting for Chris to say more on what happened or reveal his next move. One thing is for sure though, the ratings of the show are almost guaranteed to go down after this announcement.

Omg I am greatly saddened by the news Chris Harrison has stepped down,I think he had a little help with his decision tho ,he was and is the best host I’ll ever see on the shows ,I always looked forward to watching he was a true gentleman on the shows ,he will be greatly missed,I’ll tell you he had a lot of fans ,and I know what happened why he stepped down ,I think it’s really kind of stupid after all these years …..
