Duggar Sisters Joy, Jessa, & Jill Reunite Amid Family Drama: But, Why?
The Duggar sisters reunited with Jill soon after her birthday. She probably only met up with other members of her family after her birthday as she, Derick, and the kids went away for some fun. They celebrated it at Buffalo National River in Arkansas. However, upon their return, she made an effort and got together with a couple of her sisters. Notably, one of them was absent. So, which sisters turned up for her belated celebration?
Duggar sisters catch up with Jill, but not Jana
When Jill celebrated her birthday last week she also spent time with her cousin Amy Duggar King and her aunt Deanna. However, it looks like Jana Duggar missed a belated lunch with Jessa, Jill, and Joy-Anna. We reported that Derick’s wife turned 30 years old and for some reason, Jana didn’t make it to a belated lunch. In fact, in her Instagram Story, Jill specifically tagged Jana, saying “Missed you.” Perhaps the two women fell out, we speculated. After all, with the Josh drama going on, tensions might be quite high in the family.
The Duggar sisters seem to slowly make friends with Jill Dillard again these days. In fact, at one stage, many fans assumed that she was on the outs with all her sisters. However, on her birthday, her sister Jinger wished her the best. Her sister Joy-Anna also reached out to her. Fans know that Jim Bob became upset with her and Derick when they left the Counting On show on TLC. Plus, he then called his father-in-law out quite publically. Clearly, some of her sisters still stay in touch with her though.
Belated birthday lunch who attended?
Jill Dillard shared on her Instagram Stories that she caught up with other members of the Duggar sisters. Joy-Anna was there, and so was Jessa, US Weekly noted. Jessa Seewald attended the lunch held at the Marketplace Grill. Not actually featured in the photo, Jill tagged her before she mentioned that she missed Jana. Actually, it’s not surprising that Jessa and Jill get along as they both enjoy similar activities. Both mothers often take their kids out and about exploring the world. Plus, their kids are at the right ages to be friends as well.
Meanwhile, Joy-Anna always seemed like the one Duggar sister who was the most easy-going and open to enjoy the company of anyone. Jill Dillard and Joy-Anna often comment on each other’s Instagram posts. Of course, these days, Joy-Anna’s also a mom so one can imagine their birthday chat revolved around kids and possibly upcoming summer vacations.
