Alyvia Alyn Lind Shares Heartbreaking News
Alyvia Alyn Lind has sad news to share with Young & The Restless fans. In an Instagram post, she reveals that her cousin Bodie is dealing with some medical issues.
In her post, she writes, “My baby cousin bodie went into status epilepticus yesterday morning. He is just 3 years old and has been batting TSC since he was a newborn. This is the absolute strongest family I know and seeing him like this completely breaks my heart.”
She also promoted a fundraiser, writing, “While the world is beginning to heal and slowly finding a new normal, the TS Alliance is hosting an incredible global virtual event on May 15-16. Join me in fighting for the one million people living with TSC. One in 6,000 babies is diagnosed with TSC. Children and adults with TSC face unimaginable challenges every day and yet, even while facing an unprecedented global pandemic, they persevere with incredible courage and tenacity. The TS Alliance is dedicated to finding a cure for TSC while improving the lives of those affected.”
Bodie’s mom, Kaylan Eggert O’Hara has shared lots of photos of him throughout this journey. Bodie sadly spent Mother’s Day in the hospital. In her post, Kaylan wrote, “TSC does not take holidays. First Christmas… now Mother’s Day. Bodie went into status epilepticus early this morning. It took 5 rescue meds and 45 minutes to get him back. This was the closest he has been to intubation. We are in goods hands at Lurie Children’s. Please send good vibes our way.”
In response to Kaylan’s newest post, her followers are sending encouraging messages and saying they are keeping the family in their thoughts. Kaylan only has 60 followers on Instagram, but she has received many more comments and likes on her post, so it seems like people from Alyvia’s Instagram page went over there for updates.

Alyvia originally shared a photo of her cousin laying in a hospital bed. Later, she deleted the post. It’s unclear why Alyvia decided to delete the post, but she hasn’t shared anything about Bodie since. It’s odd that she would delete the post, especially since fans were likely loving and supportive. Maybe she will share another photo of him in the future and give fans an update. In the meantime, her followers can head over to Kaylan’s Instagram page for more updates about the little guy.
