During her time on Matt James’ season, Katie Thurston became close friends with her competitors. That friendship has continued even after their respective shots at love with Matt James ended. Several of them had a West Coast reunion over the weekend.
Katie Thurston was joined by some of the other ladies who arrived in the same limo on night one. Included in the mini vacay were Alana Milne, Sydney Johnson, and Casandra Suarez.
But the foursome were missing one more from that fateful limo ride – Serena Pitt.

In the photo, Suarez is kissing Thurston’s neck seductively underneath a Girls, Girls, Girls sign. Thurston captioned the photo “Whatever floats your boat” with a purple heart emoji.

Bachelorette Clears Up Meaning Behind Photo
Needless to say, many people took the photo as something of a coming out announcement. Former Bachelor Colton Underwood’s recent coming out is still fresh in the minds of Bachelor Nation fans.
Once Katie Thurston saw the chatter about her photo, she took to the comments to clear it up. She wrote that she “did not intend” the photo to mean more than a “friendship post.” Furthermore, she points out that she has “never” spoken publicly about her sexuality and she isn’t starting “with this picture.”
However, she sends “nothing but love for everyone.”
