Bates Family Wedding Planning Is Under Way

There’s a Bates wedding coming up soon, and fans expect a couple more this year or next. Right now, Katie and her fiance Travis Clark are planning their wedding. They got engaged in April after a sweet proposal.

Carlin Bates Stewart hinted that she thinks there will be two weddings this year. One is Katie’s, but it’s possible that either Esther and Nathan or Lawson and Tiffany will get engaged soon too.

Though we don’t know when Katie is getting married, it will be this year. Alyssa, one of Katie’s sisters, has said she knows the date, but she’s not sharing those details until Katie does. So, fans will have to wait patiently to see when the couple finally ties the knot. In the meantime, the family is giving fans a peek into the wedding plans. They are checking all the boxes as they start making plans for the special day.

Katie Bates begins wedding planning

On social media, the Bates family has been sharing peeks of the wedding planning process. This week, several of the girls went to Florida to go dress shopping. Carlin, Alyssa, Josie, Katie, and Kelly, as well as one of Katie’s friends, were all there. Plus, one-year-old Layla and one-year-old Willow tagged along.

Though nobody shared a photo of the dress Katie picked out, the family shared a few snaps from the special day. After selecting a dress, Katie wrote, “I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!!! 👰🏼Can’t wait to marry the man of my dreams!!” The day went a little differently than planned, and they ended up canceling some of their appointments because Katie ended up finding a dress so fast. 

It’s unclear whether the wedding will be shown on Bringing Up Bates. It’s possible because previous weddings have been on the show. Plus, many fans would like to be a part of the special day. No matter what, fans will get to see lots of photos and videos from the big event.

In addition to saying yes to the dress, Katie has asked several of her friends and sisters to be a part of the special day. Josie is Katie’s maid of honor.
