Brand New Season Of TLC’s sMothered Premiere Date Revealed
sMothered fans rejoice! A new season of the show has been announced for later this month. Will you be tuning in to see the new mother-daughter duos?
sMothered new season date revealed
A new season of sMothered is headed to TLC! The show follows mothers and daughters. More than that, it follows mothers and daughters that are obsessed with each other. These duos dress alike, spend all their time together and even get in the way of relationships with others.
The brand new season is heading to the network on May 31, just in time for a summer of sMothered.
“What’s stronger than these mother-daughter bonds? Absolutely nothing! Get to know six inseparable duos on a brand new season of #sMothered premiering Monday, May 31 at 9/8c,” TLC writes on their Facebook post.
Of course, the comments are full of opinions from viewers everywhere.
“TLC comes up with the stupidest shows ever. My only two favorite ones are out daughtered and unexpected the other ones are a waste of film,” someone comments.
“So are ALL these daughters ready to lead a very lonely life, no man or woman would want to be a part of this madness and the ones that are there aren’t gonna be around from the looks of it. It TIME TO GEOW UP LADIES! Time to get off your mama’s TIT!”
“Well I’ll be watching again,” another writes. “Blame the pandemic.”
The new sMothered promo
In addition to release dates, TLC also gave fans a first look into the season with a new promo video.
The video for the new season looks wild. Of course, there will be some returning faces along with a mix of new duos. The returning cast includes Sunhe & Angelica, Kathy & Cristina, and Dawn & Cher.
One outrageous clip from the promo includes a mom waxing her daughter’s backside.
“You’re smooth like a baby again,” the mom rejoices.
Of course, that’s not all. In one part, Amy and Carina are switching underwear. One mom even artificially inseminates her daughter during the season because she gave birth to her daughter, and now gets to help her daughter do the same.
Like always, the spouses of all of the daughters are struggling with their relationships. This is a common theme in the show as most of them feel like a third wheel in their own marriages. Only time will tell if they will be able to survive being in a marriage where their mother-in-law is so heavily involved. Especially now that so many of them have babies or are expecting babies.

Returning – Cher & Dawn
Cher & Dawn are fan favorites who have been around since Season 1.
Returning – Kathy & Cristina
Kathy and Cristina are the crazy loud duo originating in Chicago.
Returning – Sunhe & Angelica
Sunhe and Angelica always struggle with boundaries when it comes to relationships. Now, it looks like Angelica’s fiance’s mom will be joining the bunch.
New – Amy & Carina
Amy and Carina are a new duo coming from Hawaii. They believe they are so close because they knew each other in a past life.
New – Karla & Rykia
This mother and daughter from Alabama might be crossing a new line. They are so comfortable they even get Brazilian waxes together.
New – Lisa & Lauren
Lisa and Lauren are the final new duo joining this season. Lauren and her wife have been trying to conceive a child for a while. Now, Lisa is getting involved.
