Nanny Faye & Chase Chrisley bet At the Kentucky Derby
We reported that Nany Faye loves gambling. In fact, during the quarantine, she couldn’t visit the casinos. So no trouble, a friend helped her set up for online gambling. Sometimes, her son Todd, the patriarch of Chrisley Knows Best chides her for it. When she heard that Nanny gambled online, Chase Chrisley’s mom, Julie wondered if online gambling had cured her if going to actual casinos. Well, Nanny seemed speechless at the suggestion. Never one to turn down an opportunity for the real thing, she probably waited impatiently for casinos to open up again.
We also reported that when Nanny Faye & Chase Chrisley went to the Kentucky Derby this year, one photo revealed Nanny Fay with a “large cigar she…held to her mouth.” Such a character, Chrisley Knows Best fans just adore her. Todd and Chase both shared some photos of their favorite relative living her best life at the horse races. Of course, fans also know that Chase and his grandma are guaranteed to get up to mischief when they get together. One photo shared by Todd and Chase revealed her holding up her betting slip.
Did the reality TV star win anything?
Todd’s post that showed Nanny Faye & Chase Chrisley where she held up her slip came with the caption, “Ok, one more, @nannyfayechrisley has laid that money down and is ready to go…” Meanwhile, Chase posted a similar photo taken in the stands at Patio East for race 12 at the Charlie Downs Kentucky Derby. He said, “Nanny with a winning ticket at the derby!” The slip revealed $51. Some fans worried that she might not be able to claim her win as other people might steal the numbers. However, she probably cashed it in straight away.
It’s not clear which horses Nanny Faye & Chase Chrisley bet on. Maybe she put some money on the main winner, Medina Spirit that paid out $1.86 million. Apparently, the horse beat pre-race favorite Essential Quality. That must have really hurt Jim McIngvale, who USA Today reported on. They noted he’s also “known as “Mattress Mack”…who…bet $1.3 million to win on Essential Quality as of 2 p.m. CT Saturday.” Stating that he intended to bet more, he hoped to cover an in-store promotion at his business.
Maybe next time, he should have a chat with Nanny Faye and Chase Chrisley before he throws his money away. What are your thoughts? Sound off in the comments below.
