Well, it seems like the internet has done it again when it comes to renowned weight loss surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan. Once more, it seems like rumors are abuzz that TLC’s My 600-Lb. Life Dr. Now is dead. Luckily, the good doctor takes to Instagram to clear up some recent rumors. Keep reading to find out more about Dr. Now clearing up rumors about his death.
My 600-Lb. Life Dr. Now makes headlines about his death
Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time that Dr. Now makes headlines for his death. TV Shows Ace previously reports on Dr. Now death rumors. In that report, an Instagram post on Dr. Now’s profile sent fans into a frenzy. The photo is a close-up of the beloved doctor with the text that reads, “2021 Has to be better.” Fans took it to mean that with all of the drama surrounding the COVID pandemic, that Dr. Now was another victim of the awful year. However, that definitely wasn’t the case.
Seemingly, the rumors have resurfaced, because Dr. Now takes to his Instagram today (April 23) to assure fans that he is still alive and well. The post is a selfie of the My 600-Lb. Life doctor with a watermark that reads “DrNowMD.”

Doctor puts rumors to rest
In the beginning of the caption, Dr. Now shows gratitude towards his fans. “Thank you for the outpouring of concern.” Next, he brings up the obvious. “I am definitely alive and well and still working to reverse obesity,” writes the doctor to assure his fans of his well-being.
Next, Dr. Now lets his followers about how he became aware of the rumors about him. “Today I am doing surgery and my office has informed me we have received many calls asking about me since there are false headlines & rumors of my passing.” Additionally, Dr. Now acknowledges that this isn’t the first time that this has happened. He calls the rumor of his passing “the common tides we navigate.” Dr. Now also says that there are “many false headlines out there about [him].”

From the outpouring of concern and love in Dr. Now’s Instagram statement, it is obvious that viewers love him. Many of the comments express very real emotions. One of them reads as follows.
I wouldn’t have been able to handle this news if it were true!!! Glad you checked in safe! We need you to contine laying down the law.”
