Peter Weber Starting A Podcast & Writing A Children’s Book, What?
Peter Weber will likely go down in history as one of the most confused leads on The Bachelor. So much so that a visit from his ex had him ready to leave the show. Recently in anticipation of his new podcast Bachelors in the City, he’s been doing interviews and talking about the things that happened on his season, fans didn’t get to see.
When Hannah Brown hosted a group date, for example, (those sneaky producers) he got very emotional. In unaired footage he said he told her he’d leave for her. She told him, “Peter, you can’t, you signed a contract.” Then he went on to propose to Hannah Ann Sluss while wanting to be with Madison Prewett. Eventually he ended up dating eliminated contestant Kelley Flanagan for months.
Now, he’s single and writing a children’s book. Peter is making good on his time in Bachelor Nation and taking opportunities as they present themselves. The podcast is with Dustin Kendrick, his bestie, and fellow Hannah Brown contestant. The two share an apartment in New York City now.
Peter Weber Had A Hard Time With The Public Breakup
According to US Weekly, Peter Weber had a very hard time breaking up with Hannah Ann Sluss. He admits confusion and stress played a big role. He said, “it was tough. The last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt someone like that.” Peter went on to say there was a lot of manipulation and pressure with the process.
He also said he only had his self to blame. Peter hasn’t mentioned what the children’s book he is writing will be about. One can only imagine, planes or being a pilot. Weber told US he wasn’t okay after hurting Hannah Ann. Peter said, “Hannah Ann is the sweetest soul you could ever meet, nothing about that is fake. … It’s 100 percent real, that is her.”
Did He Break Up With Her On TV To Help Her?
When asked about his intentions breaking up with Hannah Ann on television to pursue Madison, Peter Weber said the decision was his, not producers. He was reminded of Arie Luyendyk breaking up with Becca Kufrin to pursue the runner-up. Arie said it was to give Becca a chance to be The Bachelorette. America would root for her after watching her heart being crushed.
Peter said the thought crossed his mind. He said he kind of understood what Arie was saying. Peter said he thought with the breakup, “if there’s any chance that this can, you know, help her go and find her person then through being the Bachelorette, I would love to kind of promote that.”
