Will There Be A Season 3 Of Netflix’s ‘Glow Up’?
Those who binged through the first two seasons of Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star might be wondering if Netflix will pick up a Season 3. We were curious too. So, we did a little digging. Here’s what we’ve uncovered about Netflix’s Glow Up Season 3.
What is Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, anyway?
Glow Up is more or less the UK equivalent of the series called Face Off. For those who enjoy the competitive reality TV shows involving judging, this might be a nice addition to your watch list. There are two seasons of Glow Up currently in the Netflix library. Unfortunately, there are just eight episodes long. So, it doesn’t take long to binge through this series. If this happens to be one of the shows you picked up and started watching during the pandemic… You might have a simple question. Will there be a Glow Up Season 3?
Will there be a Season 3 of this series?
According to The Cinemaholic, Season 2 of Glow Up dropped into the Netflix library in August of last year. BBC had not confirmed the series for a third season. But, a casting call for the third season was already well underway. So, it was safe to assume a third season would happen even if it wasn’t officially confirmed.
Just a few days ago, Digital Spy reported new information about Glow Up Season 3 has surfaced. There will be a new host for the show this season. The MUAs competing in Season 3 have also been revealed.
Maya Jama will be taking over as the new host of the competition. She is replacing Stacey Dooley. Fortunately, the two judges of the show Val Garland and Dominic Skinner are returning. The MUAs for Season 3 are as follows: Dolli, Sophie, Alex, Xavi, Elliot, Ryley, Samah, Nicole, Jack, and Craig.

Does Glow Up Season 3 have a Netflix release date?
This information is all well and good, but when will Glow Up Season 3 be available for Netflix subscribers? Does it have a Netflix release date just yet? The Cinemaholic speculated Summer of 2021 made sense as a potential release date. Keeping to their pattern (and the streaming giant really likes patterns), a release date in August of 2021 would also make sense.
What to Watch reports Season 3 of Glow Up has a premiere date of Tuesday, April 20th via BBC3 and the BBC iPlayer. It will also air via BBC1 on the same day at 10:45 p.m. Just like the first two seasons of this series, fans of Glow Up can expect a weekly release of single episodes.
Unfortunately, what information is not readily available is the Netflix release date for Glow Up Season 3. With Season 2, Netflix actually picked up the episodes BEFORE they aired in the UK on BBC3. So, Season 3 of Glow Up could drop into the Netflix library as early as next week. But, there haven’t been any reports of Glow Up being part of Netflix releases for April 2021.
The next best guess is Season 3 of Glow Up could drop into the Netflix library after all episodes air on BBC in the UK. Unfortunately, this does mean subscribers could be waiting a few more months for new episodes. This would July of 2021 or August of 2021 potential Netflix release dates.
