Is Michaela Bates Sharing Anything About Her Struggle With Infertility?
Bringing Up Bates star Michaela Bates has been open about her struggles with infertility. She and her husband Brandon Keilen have been trying to grow their little family for years, but they have been unsuccessful. This has been hard for the couple, and they’ve been working hard to navigate this challenge in their marriage.
Michaela and Brandon hope to have children of their own soon. While they aren’t pursuing adoption at the moment, it is something that they have discussed. They want as many kids as possible.
Michaela Bates shares update about infertility
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Michaela shared an update about her infertility journey. She explained in an Instagram story back in March what is currently going on. She said:
“After much prayer and conversation together we decided to film one of our dr. visits. But afterwards I found that sharing something so personal and painful in such a public way was very difficult for me. After that appointment we decided that we wanted to walk this pathway a little more privately.”
She also shared that they took a break from seeing the doctor while she was in nursing school. Now that she’s graduated, they have started going back to their fertility specialist. So, hopefully, they will get some answers soon.
Don’t expect any additional updates from the couple
Since that update in March, Michaela and Brandon haven’t said anything else about their infertility journey. It sounds like they are taking a break from sharing this information publicly. They may share updates later on, but right now, they seem to be focusing on everything behind the scenes on their own.
Originally, the couple decided to talk openly about their journey to make others feel less alone. They first opened up about their infertility journey on Bringing Up Bates in 2o17. Through it all, fans have been really supportive of Michaela and Brandon. While the couple appreciates all the love and encouragement, they feel like this is a very private and personal part of their lives.
