Unfortunately, the Chrisleys may not regularly appear on television now that the latest season of Chrisley Knows Best is over. However, fans can keep up with their favorite reality television family by listening to their podcasts, Chrisley Confessions. Normally, Todd and Julie Chrisley co-host the weekly podcast. Unfortunately, Todd gets food poisoning while celebrating his birthday. However, his daughter, Savannah Chrisley is quick to jump in. After giving a lengthy update about her cosmetic line, Sassy by Savannah, she goes to give more life updates. Keep reading to find out what Savannah Chrisley has to say about mental health.
Chrisley Knows Best Savannah Chrisley admits to missing therapy
With all of the hustle and bustle of Savannah Chrisley’s upcoming product launch/restock, she makes a realization. “One thing that I’ve realized, is like, I’ve skipped my therapy for two weeks.” Savannah gives listeners an explanation. “Because filming has, like just the way that it works, I haven’t been able to do it. Just to get through the day quicker or whatever,” explains the 23-year-old entrepreneur.
Luckily, it seems like it won’t take much to Savannah back on track. Consequently, she shares that she has therapy the day following recording the podcast, Chrisley Confessions. “I have told myself, ‘I don’t care if everyone is waiting on me, I am going to do it’,” confirms Savannah. Her mother, Julie encourages her in the background.
Making time for yourself and schedules
Next, Savannah talks about how “I think that’s a really important thing to talk about. Is you gotta make time for yourself.” This next piece of advice seems to come from Savannah’s personal experience. She explains that if you don’t make time for yourself, “things just keep piling up.” Horrifyingly, she explains that “eventually, you just explode.” Julie chimes in to say that she totally agrees.
Notably, discussing mental health isn’t a new topic on Chrisley Confessions. Julie confirms this. “We’ve talked about this some,” shares the mother of four. Additionally, she goes on to share some insight into what day-to-day life is like for the Chrisley family. She acknowledges that people may not know this. “We don’t know our schedule for the day,” says Julie. Consequently, both women acknowledge that their schedules are always changing. Undoubtedly, that makes it hard to keep up with what needs to be done. Ultimately, Julie shares that it is hard to have “something set and stone” and Savannah adds that “there’s a lot of stuff that comes up the night before.”
However, this just goes to show that schedules and routines are important. Do you make time for yourself? Share some of your self-care routines in the comment section below. Come back to TV Shows Ace for more Chrisley Knows Best news.
