There is very little doubt that marriage problems abound for Sister Wives stars Meri and Kody Brown. Despite what the reality television star has previously called a tough year, Meri isn’t letting things get her too down. In fact, she recently took to Instagram to clarify that she knows her worth. She understands her personal value and knows that’s nothing to sneeze at.
In that post, she showed herself standing and smiling in the woods. She then captioned the post explaining what’s going on in her head these days.
I get that I’m in the public eye. I get that people want the best for me” she wrote.
She then spoke about value and values.
“I get that people have their own opinions about me based on their own perspective and life values. I get that I have supporters. You want to know what else I get? That I know my worth. That I know my value.”
She also added that she knows what’s in both her heart and her head. Meri also said she has a firm grasp on her convictions.
“I know I’m a strong and capable woman, capable of making her own decisions, not based on money,” she added. “Not based on religion, not based on feelings.
The Sister Wives star went on to make it clear that she isn’t a quitter either. That last part seems to be a comment aimed directly at her marriage with Kody.
Sister Wives Star Staying Strong
The recent post talking about Meri Brown’s worth, in her own eyes is definitely staying the course when it comes to a theme. These kinds of posts seem to be a direct response to what’s been going on in the world of Sister Wives.
Indeed, on the reality television program, Kody’s first wife seems to get left in the dust. He’s talked before about the fact that the pair don’t date much at all anymore. He’s said that’s because Kody is focusing on his other wives for the time being.
During this difficult time in her life, Meri isn’t shy about thanking fans for her support. However, there is a bit of a caveat when it comes to her giving thanks.
Her Values, Not Yours
Another part of the examination of Meri Brown’s values was definitely about what others think of her. She also made it clear they really can keep their opinions to themselves about their values and what she should do.
I understand that many of you give your advice to me based on YOUR values, YOUR life experiences, YOUR perspective of me,” she continued in her caption. “I hope you understand that each person has their own set of values and standards they live by. You have yours, I have mine. Just because mine are not the SAME as yours does not mean I lack in self love, self worth, self-esteem, or make me a fool.”
