That’s what happened on social media platform Reddit this week. A Bachelor Nation fan shared a photo of Chris Harrison having dinner at Oishii restaurant in Dallas, Texas. He moved to the Lone Star state earlier this year, chron.com reports.
Chris Harrison has found himself front and center of a HUGE scandal involving the ABC dating competition. In January, photos of Season 25 contestant (and eventual ‘winner’) Rachael Kirkconnell went viral. The photos show her at an antebellum-themed sorority party in 2018.

Before she issued an apology, Chris Harrison did an interview with Rachel Lindsay for Extra. He came under fire for defending the photos instead of denouncing the racially insensitive behavior.
Amid the ensuing backlash, he announced he was taking a step back from the franchise. Former Bachelorette stars Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe are stepping in as mentors and advisors for Katie Thurston’s upcoming season of The Bachelorette.
Reddit user Last-Property-7641 shared the photo of Chris Harrison out to dinner. He is noticeably thinner. Some of the comments on the post commented on his shocking appearance. One Redditor wrote that he looks “1000 years old.”

While Chris Harrison may host The Bachelor, he’s not single himself. He’s been dating Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima since 2018. She has been inactive on social media since Harrison’s disastrous interview. She did release a statement calling his behavior “wrong and disappointing.”
Neither has spoken out about the state of their relationship following the scandal.

What Chris Harrison HAS spoken out about is his desire to resume hosting. While he is sitting out Season 17, he is hopeful for a comeback. At least he was.
