Pawn Stars is back for more of Season 18. Chumlee, Rick Harrison, and his son, Corey Harrison are all back at the World Famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Vegas.
When is the premiere date and what do we know about the upcoming season?
Pawn Stars Is Back!
Pawn Stars is returning on Monday, March 22, at 9 p.m. Eastern, on History. According to the official Pawn Stars Instagram page, “The countdown to new #PawnStars episodes begins in 5…4…3…2…1 💥 Watch as actor @dennisquaid and WWE Hall of Famer @realmickfoley stop by with some insane items up for grabs. It all starts next Monday, March 22 only on The HISTORY Channel!”
Wow! Sounds exciting. What else do we know about the first episode of this upcoming season, entitled “Rick’s Big Shot”?
‘Rick’s Big Shot’
According to the History synopsis, When a seller comes in with an overcoat once owned by the suspected JFK assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, will the deal be a stroll on a grassy knoll, or will Rick lose his shot at owning a piece of history?
Next, Corey checks out a 30-year-old Gibson guitar with a factory mistake. Can he pick up a sale, or will he get shredded? Then, a rare Mike Tyson Nintendo game punches into the shop. Can Chum knock out an offer, or will the seller put up a fight?
And finally, Rick and Corey head out of the shop and into the desert to check out a restored WWII half-track. Will the father and son duo be able to target a deal, or will it blow up in their faces?
Pawn Stars Premiere Day Bonus
What else is significant about March 22, the day that Pawn Stars returns? According to Chumlee’s Instagram, “NEW EPISODES START MONDAY THE 22nd on HISTORY, that’s tomorrow!!! Also happens to be ricks birthday! Tune in. Love you all!”
Happy Birthday Rick Harrison! Clearly, Chum has his own unique capitalization rules. However, his legion of fans certainly are enthusiastic that there are more episodes coming in. When did the crew film? Las Vegas has been pretty much shut down most of 2020.

Pawn Stars Began Filming During Vegas Shutdown
For keen Pawn Stars, it seems quite early in the year for more new episodes. That is because they began filming early. Back in July 2020, when the coronavirus shut down Las Vegas, Rick Harrison revealed that History asked if they could start filming early.
He explained that the network could not cast for new shows, due to the virus. But, they could film new episodes of this classic History show. Moreover, they filmed five extra episodes.
That means Season 18 will have 25 episodes. As the March 22 premiere date starts with Episode 11, History has not revealed if they will air the remaining 15 episodes the next few months.
Be sure to catch the premiere of Pawn Stars on March 22, at 9 p.m. Eastern, on History.
