On her Instagram, Sarah Herron said, “last week I was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve.” Sarah said it is a hard pill to swallow that conceiving wouldn’t be easy for her at thirty-four. She said they had been trying for several months to get pregnant. Once they couldn’t, a fertility test showed she had a low egg count. DOR is a condition that occurs in women as young as thirty. Sarah said, “it’s hard not to feel broken.” She said having the information just helps her know her body more. Sarah said they will move forward with medication to help her conceive. She said she’s remaining optimistic about their chances.
