Tragedy recently hit close to home for Paola Mayfield. And as a result, she asked for help from fans. Turns out, Paola’s niece is currently “fighting right now for her life.” The fitness instructor and 90 Day Fiance star recently detailed the situation for her followers.
Russ Mayfield’s wife asked her followers to “pray” for her niece. Unfortunately for the young girl, something “went wrong” during her surgery. And as a result, she currently fights for her life. Paola added that her niece already fought cancer and won. But it looks like there’s another hurdle in her way.
TLC Star Unable to Help More
As TLC watchers know, Paola Mayfield is originally from Colombia. And she left her home country in order to pursue a life with her husband in America. Russ Mayfield and his wife are one of only a handful of successful couples throughout the franchise’s history. But Paola can only do so much for her relatives while she builds a life in America.
Along with sharing a picture with her young niece, Paola Mayfield said that asking 90 Day Fiance fans to pray for her is the only thing she can do “from a distance.” Russ Mayfield’s spouse told her followers that her “heart breaks” as well – because the young girl was ready to “claim her victory.”

90 Day Fiance Family Making Big Moves

They recently ditched the comforts of living in a house or apartment for life on the road in an RV. While this is an exciting time for the 90 Day Fiance family, it comes with its own set of challenges as well.
