Candace Cameron Bure shared a message of body positivity on Instagram. The Hallmark star loves to post clips of her workouts. But she wanted to share an important message with her followers. Candace wants her fans to know that bodies don’t always look flattering – especially during a workout.
This comes after she shared some sizzling bikini photos via Instagram. But some followers didn’t like the photos. They felt that she looked too perfect. However, Candace claims that her body “doesn’t always look as flattering while working out.” She admitted that she still has extra skin and fat on her body.
Candace Cameron Bure shares a powerful message
On Saturday, March 6, Candace Cameron Bure posted a series of clips that showed her working out. She didn’t have her personal trainer Kira Stokes beside her. Instead, she worked out on her own. The Fuller House star wore a black sports bra with fuschia leggings.
Candace shared those clips for a reason. She wanted to “share some footage that doesn’t look as flattering while working out.” The Aurora Teagarden star said that all bodies “still have fat and skin and come in all shapes.” Candace revealed that she “fluctuates 5 pounds every month,” which is completely “normal.”
Regardless, the 44-year-old looks great for having three kids. She wanted to remind everyone that certain exercises and positions won’t look as flattering as others. Candace concluded her message with the following: “Be encouraged at the grow in YOUR body, not perfection!”
Earlier this month, the former child star shared her diet and fitness routine. In an Instagram video, she talked about her “food and fitness journey.” Then, she answered fans’ questions about what she eats on a daily basis. However, Candace wasn’t always a fitness fanatic. She didn’t fall in love with exercising until her 30s.
She found a diet that works by listening to her body
On Sunday, February 7, Candace Cameron Bure held an Instagram Live. During that time, she received many questions from fans about her diet. However, she did want to reveal details about her diet because she’s not a nutritionist or an expert. What works for the actress may not work for someone else.
“I don’t talk a lot about diet because I truly believe everybody, every person, needs to know their own body,” Candace said.
Instead, she “just really paid attention to my body to learn what my body likes and dislikes.” The star loves to eat vegetables. She also eats fish and other lean protein, but will only consume beef about once a month. Of course, Candace likes to drink the occasional glass of wine but doesn’t drink coffee or soda.

She also tries to limit her sugar and gluten intake. Candace says she always brings a healthy snack everywhere she goes. the Full House alum also listens to her body when it comes to portion size.
“I do not count calories. I never counted calories,” Candace admitted.
While she loves to live a healthy lifestyle, she does have cheat days. She’ll occasionally have junk food. Exercise and sleep is also an important part of Candace’s wellness routine. She tries to get 8 to 9 hours of sleep, especially when she’s filming on set.
