The family will have to wait to see the baby boy
Because of COVID-19, Michael and Amy’s family could not come to the hospital to see their baby boy. They had to settle for pictures, videos, and FaceTime. Unfortunately, this extended to coming home as well. Amy explains the doctor urged them to quarantine for several weeks before allowing anyone to see the baby. And, even then, people should be screened heavily for COVID before allowing anyone to see the baby.
Amy admits she hated that Tammy could not see or hold her son. But, it was for the best as Tammy got diagnosed with COVID-19 shortly after Gage came home.
