Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark from The Bachelorette ended their season with an engagement. And fans agree that they seem much in love. Nevertheless, she doesn’t want to rush to the altar. Lots of media outlets ask her about it as ABC fans really look forward to wedding bells. And now, she explained why she and Zac don’t sprint for the nearest marriage officiate.

Tayshia Adams already said she won’t rush to the altar

We reported that Tayshia plans for no cameras or big celeb bash for her wedding to Zac. After all, their love journey already saw more cameras than any normal relationship. Plus, she already said that both of them previously married. So, they know that sometimes what starts off looking promising, can go wrong. Bear in mind, this relationship means learning for Zac. He never dated a person of color before and tries to understand the cultural issues around that.

Likewise, Tayshia Adams never dated anyone with addiction and sobriety issues before. So, both of them go through a bit of a learning curve. Talking a bit more about wedding delays, The Bachelorette star opened up again. Marie Claire spoke with Zac and Tayshia earlier this month. She told them that she understands their relationship started way off the norm. Bear in mind, they actually knew each other for about only a year or so.

Marrying for the best chance of success

Zac and Tayshia Adams went around the block before with previous relationships. So they feel very keenly about establishing a strong basis for their marriage. She told the outlet, “We…bicker and fight, but 99 percent of it is good.” Additionally, she pointed out, “It’s not my first rodeo.” So Tayshia feels that she approaches her marriage like an “adult” and she tries setting it all up “for the most success.” The Bachelorette star says she and Zac discuss marrying. And it sounds like he pushes for it faster than her.

Tayshia Adams said that Zac told her, “We could get married next week.” So, she pushed back and told him, “Slow your roll.” While she hopes for at least a year before tying the knot, she admits sometimes she nearly goes for an earlier date. Then, he comes back at her with “slow your roll.” Despite her hesitation, Tayshia feels certain that a wedding will happen. But right now, she can’t commit to exactly when.
