’90 Day Fiance’ Star Anfisa Opens Up On Shocking Truth Of Marriage With Jorge Nava

Anfisa Arkhipchenko Nava has kept her fan following since leaving 90 Day Fiance and Jorge Nava. The ultra-fit personal trainer has come a long way since leaving her home country of Russia. While Anfisa has kept quiet about her time with Jorge and her appearance on the TLC reality show, she has finally opened up.

Anfisa has posted a video to YouTube, where she plays various clips from 90 Day Fiance and explains to fans what was actually happening. Anfisa and Jorge were among the most dramatic couples on the TLC reality show. Part of the drama came from the fact fans believed Anfisa was the stereotypical Russian gold digger.  However, the drama also included the fact that Jorge was arrested on drug-related charges.

The relationship had started after Jorge, 31, met Anfisa, 24, on Facebook. Back then, Anfisa revealed that Jorge had told her he loved her only a week after they “met.” Eventually, Arkhipchenko arrived in America and began starring on 90 Day Fiance. Fans got to watch their neverending fights on the show, as well as Jorge’s arrest on marijuana possession charges.

The TLC show and its toll on Anfisa’s mental health

In her video, Anfisa talks about the toll the show took on her mental health. She then goes on to reveal “what was real and what was not.” Before showing various clips from the show, Anfisa explains that she has a weird sense of humor. She tends to use sarcasm and “deadpan jokes” while playing up the “Russian stereotype.”

One scene showed Anfisa wedding shopping with Jorge. She explains that the line mentioning the “most expensive dress” made her look like a gold digger. She said this is what the producers wanted for drama on the show. Meanwhile, she only asked about the most expensive dress as a matter of interest, not for purchasing it.

In another scene, Jorge is telling Anfisa on the phone that he could potentially lose $15,000 if he misses his client’s call. The Russian beauty said her reaction was only because she wanted to protect him from doing something illegal. As fans know, Jorge was arrested and did time for his actions.

Anfisa screams on 90 Day Fiance

The Russian former reality star did admit that some things were true. This included when Jorge visited the lawyer alone. Anfisa does admit that she shouldn’t have screamed so much. She also confirmed that the idea that money was most important in a relationship was based on “a joke” and was “sarcastic.”

Anfisa and Jorge were married in 2016 and she admits things weren’t going well, even before he went to prison in 2018. She claims she did try to make the marriage work, but Jorge wasn’t the right man for her. She claims he cheated and lied and never “stood up” for her.

Nava also denied rumors that Jorge had gone to prison because he was trying to get enough cash to keep her happy. She said he had previous felonies “when he was 19 or 20.”

When Jorge featured on 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined in 2020, he revealed that Anfisa had ended things two months after he went to prison. Meanwhile, Anfisa did say they kept in touch until the summer of 2019. Jorge mentioned that he had found out Anfisa was dating someone new via the Internet. For her part, Anfisa said she waited a few months before getting involved with a new man.

It is clear things were tough for both parties while Anfisa and Jorge were married. However, it seems both parties have moved on to a better life. Anfisa’s career as a personal trainer is flourishing, while Jorge’s new girlfriend is expecting a baby. The Russian former TLC star did admit that going through the 90 Day Fiance story did teach her a lot, so basically was worth the pain. One thing Anfisa stresses to fans is not to believe everything you hear on 90 Day Fiance, as it isn’t all real.
