Sparrow Kilcher Of ‘Alaska: The Last Frontier’ Is Growing Up Fast.
Alaska: The Last Frontier has captured the hearts and minds of fans all around the world. The show follows the Kilcher family as they live a modest lifestyle in the Alaskan wilderness. Fans have spent the last ten seasons watching the family grow as well as feeling a part of the family themselves. Each fan has their favorite Kilcher member. Some fans are drawn to Atz Lee’s outdoorsman character. Others are drawn to the wisdom of Atz Sr or Otto Kilcher.
However, the most beloved Kilcher members are arguably Eivin and Eve Kilcher. Fans connect with the love the couple shares for each other. Eivin and Eve’s love is matched only by the love of their two beautiful children. The couple has two children. Their son, Findlay Farenorth Kilcher, and their younger daughter, Sparrow Rose Kilcher.
Welcoming Sparrow Rose Kilcher
Eivin and Eve welcomed their second child into this world on September 28, 2015. Findlay was nearly two years old when he met his baby sister. Even though he was so young at the time, Findlay was already proving himself to be a good big brother.
“He really loves to kiss and cuddle my tummy, but I still don’t think he realizes the idea of having another baby to take care of. But he does love baby things: baby animals or to cuddle baby stuffed animals. Every day, multiple times a day, he’ll lift my shirt up and bring toys over and say, “Share?” “Baby?” I think he will be sweet with the new baby, but I also think the transition will be difficult no matter what.” – Eve Kilcher
Growing Up
Sparrow Rose Kilcher will turn six years old this year. Fans have watched her grow through the years. Eve never fails to update fans with photographs of the family on her Instagram page. However, Eivin Kilcher is the one updating fans this time. Eivin Kilcher just posted a photograph of his own on Instagram.
Attached to the photo, Eivin writes,
“Sparrow is so proud of her first braid in a sundowns mane. Also, our young filly Violet is being very good about Sparrow sorting on her. Violet is shaping up to be a very curious tolerant and gentle horse. I’m excited to watch Sparrow and Violet grow up together!!”
This is such a beautiful picture of the young Kilcher member. This picture is no doubt very important to Eivin. Watching his young daughter grow up with a horse of her own must be important after just losing his own lifelong companion.
