Although he claims he will review it soon. Jake seeks advice from older brother Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and decides to reject Gabi’s proposal.
In addition to rejecting Gabi’s proposal, Jake Lambert makes a surprising staffing decision, according to Days of Our Lives spoilers. He offers Kate Roberts a job as an executive at DiMera Enterprises. Of course, Kate has years of boardroom experience at DiMera and elsewhere. So Jake thinks she’s a perfect ally and will only help him shine in his new position.

Kate Roberts doesn’t like to play second fiddle to anyone on Days of Our Lives. She’s been the head honcho at DiMera a few times. She knows exactly how to charm the board. So she may be there by Jake’s invite, but she certainly has designs to take the reigns from her lover and claim the CEO position for herself. Certainly, this is a classic Kate Roberts move. Unfortunately, Jake’s naivety will be his downfall.
