Is The ‘Julie & The Phantoms’ Season 2 September Release Date Real?
Google is confirming the release date for Season 2 of Netflix’s Julie and the Phantoms is September of 2021. As you can see in the screenshot down below… If you Google and ask what the Julie and the Phantoms Season 2 release date is… You are met with “September 2021” in big bold letters. So, it is understandable why many fans would believe this information to be true. After all, this is Google we are talking about. Unfortunately, crawlers of the search engine are just pulling this information from a website that discusses this MIGHT be the release date.

If you read beyond the big bold letters that Google presents you with… You will learn the truth. The outlet PopBuzz notes “so we imagine” September of 2021 will be the release date. They explain Netflix likes to stick to a pattern with releasing new seasons of shows. And, this is very true. Netflix is a creature of habit. So, a September 2021 release date for Season 2 of Julie and the Phantoms does make sense.
This, however, should be taken as a grain of truth. Moreover, there are a lot of issues with this theory. For starters, Netflix has NOT confirmed the renewal of Julie and the Phantoms. Netflix has not said one word about the series returning for a second season. Moreover, the social media accounts associated with the series also have mentioned a Season 2.
Furthermore, even the cast seems to be in the dark about Julie and the Phantoms getting renewed. In fact, the cast has participated in fan attempts to force the series to trend to get the attention of Netflix. To date, there has not been an official word anywhere about the series being confirmed for a second season.
But, what if you saw a promo picture confirming it?
Unfortunately, you didn’t. There are a few things you might’ve saw. Some fans are pushing what is actually a promotion picture for Season 1 of Julie and the Phantoms. The first season was released in September. And, some are mistaking a promo for the first season for Season 2.
It is also possible you saw a hoax. There was a Facebook page that looked to be connected to Netflix pushing the confirmation of Season 2. The page suggested Season 2 would hit the streaming service this year. This, however, was also debunked as not being true.
‘Julie & The Phantoms’ Season 2 Renewal Rumor Gains Traction
The unfortunate truth is there isn’t a promotional image or trailer for Julie and the Phantoms Season 2 yet. Neither a trailer or promotional image exits at this point in time. Why? Simply because the series has NOT been renewed at the time this article was written.
But, what about the Julie and the Phantom’s Season 2 Trailer on YouTube?
Again, the answer to this question is more or less the same as above. There are a lot of fan made Julie and the Phantoms Season 2 trailers floating around on YouTube. There are even some videos claiming the series has been renewed. But, the bottom line is the series has not been renewed.
The Netflix Original series ended on a huge cliffhanger. And, the series has a huge following. Fans of the series continue to cause the name of it to trend on Twitter. Fans hope they’ll grab the attention of Netflix. And, the streaming giant will renew the series.
For now, there is no Julie and the Phantoms Season 2 release date, promotional image, or trailer. Until you see official confirmation from the cast, the series social media pages, or Netflix… It is best not to believe every fan that screams it has been renewed on Facebook.
