‘Vampire Knight’ Season 3: Release Date, English Dub, Possibility

Vampire Knights is a nice option for anime lovers with a Netflix subscription. Those who spent the pandemic binging through the first two seasons of the series might be wondering… Is there a Vampire Knight Season 3? Or, will there be one? Here’s everything we know about Vampire Knight Season 3 including a potential release date and any English Dub information.

Vampire Knight Season 3: Release Date, English Dub, Possibility

According to The Cinemaholic, the chances of fans getting a Season 3 of Vampire Knight English Dub or English Sub are extremely slim at this point. TriniKid reports fans rallied behind the series with the hopes of a renewal for a third season. A petition was formed. It collected a fairly impressive volume of over 52,000 signatures. Still, most think the possibility of a Season 3 is a distant dream at this point. Especially given the history of the series.

Background information on the anime series

Known in Japanese as Vanpaia Naito, this dark fantasy anime originated from a manga of the same name. The manga series debuted in November of 2004 and ran for nearly a decade until May of 2013. Smack dab in the middle of the lifespan of the manga, it got picked up as an anime series. Vampire Knight Season 1 premiered on April 8, 2008.

The show was a huge hit. And, a Season 2 followed shortly after. Vampire Knight Season 2 premiered in October 7, 2008. With both the English Dub and English Sub version available on Netflix… It was something many turned to during the pandemic. The series, however, has been a part of the Netflix U.S. platform since 2014.

For those without Netflix, the series is also currently available on Tubi and Vudu.

Do fans still rally for a Season 3?

A quick search of Vampire Knight Season 3 on Twitter reveals fans of the series continue to rally for more.

In fact, it has only been a few days since someone took to Twitter to ask of Vampire Knight Season 3 was going to happen.

Things seem grim for the time being

Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any real information to suggest a Season 3 of Vampire Knight was on the horizon. Fans, however, continue to hold out hope.
