Ashley Spivey on Instagram
Bachelor Nation member, Ashley Spivey, posted today about her IVF consultation. Apparently, she is feeling very hopeful as she goes on this journey. The post included a selfie of herself in the sun with a lengthy caption.
She starts: “I had to pause my Inauguration Day celebration to head to my IVF consultation. And I was still crying because even though today looks different than I imagined – I still feel hopeful.”
Then, she continues to list all the reasons she feels good about this journey.
“The sun is shining brighter in Manhattan than it has in the last 4 years. My doctor’s name is Lucky – that has to be a sign. And she saw at least 36 eggs in my ovaries so even though every part of today was bittersweet – I’m still doing everything in honor of you, CJ,” she writes on the social media post.
Of course, she got so much support from her fans and followers on Instagram in the comments section.
- “Your appt is going to go great! This is going to be your year! Love you, sending hugs from NC💗”
- “Hugs Ashley!! 🤗 You’re amazing ❤️😘”
- “You are an inspiration😘🙌🏻! Special prayers and good “Lucky” to you!”
While this time is probably very tough, it’s great that she has such a big support network.
‘Bachelor’ Alum Ashley’s miscarriage
Very late into Ashley’s last pregnancy with her son, CJ, she lost the baby. Apparently, she noticed he wasn’t moving as much as he used to. They searched for his heartbeat twice and did ultrasounds with two different doctors.
This was very hard on Ashley as she was induced for labor to deliver her late son.
“I am very sad, and very scared but more than anything I am just completely heartbroken. I feel like a failure,” she writes.
She continues “I am going to try and get some sleep and tomorrow I will get to meet my sweet CJ. I’m so sad I couldn’t protect him,” she writes on her Instagram story at the time.”
Now, she is doing her IVF in honor of her late son CJ. Hopefully, she is able to get pregnant and safely deliver her rainbow baby.
