Reality Star Porsha Williams Mourns Her Aunt
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late aunt. Autherine Ford passed away after a short battle with Covid-19. She left behind her husband and two daughters. She had just celebrated her 41st marriage anniversary in 2020.
Loss In The Family
Porsha Williams wrote on her Instagram post, “My heart is so heavy. Today I lost my beloved Aunt Autherine. Please pray for her husband and beautiful daughters. God, please comfort and bless our family at this time. Totally heartbroken”
According to Terrica Ford, the late Autherine passed away from COVID-19. She shared on her Instagram story, “Man Covid is a silent bullet we are still in shock and disbelief. This thing came and took my mom in less than 5 days. I don’t like to question God, but he took a good one. I can’t believe my mum is gone.”
Tiffany Ford, also daughter to the late Autherine, had taken to Instagram a day ago to ask for prayers for her mother. She wrote, “I’m STANDING on God’s Word right now. I’m also standing on the sweet words my mom was speaking to me in this video. Romans 8:28. #Faith #Thankinghiminadvance”
Several family members showed their support, including Porsha, who responded to her cousin,” Yes, Believe She will be alright in the name of Jesus.”
The Ford sisters, Tiffany and Terrica, are well known for their beauty brand, Edgifiher. A beauty tool they created together in 2017.
Fans Show Support for Porsha William’s Family
Terrica posted a tribute saying, “…Thank you for giving me life… thank you for EVERYTHING. Until we meet again…Please visit me in my dreams, I have so much left to tell you, Your Baby Girl.”
This isn’t the first loss the recent activist has gone through in recent years. Porsha Williams had opened up in June of 2019 about losing her aunt Louve and uncle Terry a few weeks apart.
Less than a week ago, the family celebrated Tiffany Ford’s wedding, in which Autherine was in attendance. For this to happen shortly after the happy occasion is heartbreaking.
Co-stars of the 39-year-old star showed their support for her by offering their condolences under her post.
Kandi Burrus and Cynthia Bailey responded with prayer emojis to their long time friend. Kim Zolciak wrote under her tribute,” I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you love and prayers.”
Fans flooded Porsha Williams’ comment section with prayers and love saying. “I’m so sorry for your loss Porsha. Her & your mom look alike. I will definitely keep you & your family in my prayers. May God console, comfort & bless you & your family extra during this difficult time.”
